After the touchdown grab -- Gronkowski's second of the day -- he spiked the ball in Jets DB Donald Strickland's face. He was whistled for unsportsman-like conduct.

7:24 3rd quarter: Patriots 16, Jets 9 -- Rob Ninkovich intercepted a Mark Sanchez pass after it bounced off Shonn Greene's hands and then was tipped by Jerod Mayo before landing in his hands.

According to the Patriots, that was his first attempt from 50 yards or more this year. He's 5 of 7 from 50+ yards deep in his career.

What we've learned from the Jets' first drive: They're going to pass the ball. Mark Sanchez connected with Santonio Holmes twice for 43 yards. He even got Plaxico Burress involved on the first drive, hitting him for 11 yards. But the Jets ran up against a stingy red zone defense from the Patriots.
