Patrick Chung draws fine for late hit against Raiders

Patriots safety Patrick Chung was fined $7,500 for unnecessary roughness when he struck an opponent late on a pass play in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory against the Oakland Raiders, according to a league source.

Raiders defensive lineman Richard Seymour was fined a total of $15,000 for two incidents against the Patriots. The first ($7,500) was when he received a penalty for roughing the passer when he threw Tom Brady to the ground after the play.

Seymour also was fined ($7,500) for a play when he grabbed the facemask of BenJarvus Green-Ellis in the midst of a run.
