The Patriots are holding a full-pads practice on the fields behind Gillette Stadium, and there is some good news and bad news on the attendance front.

First, the positive: six players were in uniform whom we haven't seen in full pads in while - Julian Edelman, Taylor Price, Brandon Tate, Ras-I Dowling, James Sanders and Shaun Ellis. A few of those players took part in Saturday's practice, but that was basically a walkthrough; their participation today indicates real progress in terms of their health.

As for who wasn't in uniform, it's still a pretty long list:
Stevan Ridley
Leigh Bodden
Shane Vereen
Josh Barrett
Kevin Faulk (pup)
Danny Woodhead
Malcolm Williams
Eric Kettani
Jeff Tarpinian
Dane Fletcher
Brandon Spikes
Marcus Cannon (NFI)
Ryan Wendell
Brandon Deaderick (pup)
Lee Smith
Albert Haynesworth
Jermaine Cunningham
Ron Brace (pup)
Mike Wright

Some of those players were working out with members of the strength and conditioning staff on a side field.
