Patriots' rookie Brandon Deaderick underwent surgery today. The news came via the Twitter account of Adam Cohen, the director of football operations for Perennial Sports and Entertainment, the group that represents Deaderick.

Cohen tweeted: "Best wishes to PSE Client and #Patriots DL Brandon Deaderick who is having surgery today. Get well soon my man!"

There have been reports that the surgery was minor for Deaderick's shoulder; he was listed on the Pats' injury report late in the season with a shoulder issue.

In a humorous twist, the original tweet, which went up around 5 p.m., has been deleted from Cohen's account. Someone clearly told Mr. Cohen that broadcasting such news is a no-no for Pats' clients...
