The Patriots have wrapped up Day 9 of training camp and motored through a full practice for the first time today. There is no word on a practice schedule for the weekend, but when we find out we will pass it along.

Here are some highlights today:

* Tom Brady didn't take a snap during 11-on-11 work, as Brian Hoyer handled much of the duties for the day. Zac Robinson also made a few throws.

* Matthew Slater, Leigh Bodden, Gary Guyton, Bret Lockett, Nick Kaczur, and Ty Warren were absent, while Ron Brace, Mike Wright, Terrence Johnson and Thomas Clayton were off to the side running through conditioning and agility drills in shorts. For those keeping score, also no Logan Mankins or Derrick Burgess.

* Jonathan Wilhite, Mark LeVoir and Myron Pryor were back at practice today.

* WR Rod Owens duped CB Darius Butler on a nice route during 1-on-1 drills. Owens sprinted toward the middle of end zone and then lost Butler as he broke back to the corner of the end zone and caught a pass from Hoyer. Butler came back later and broke up a pass to Randy Moss.

* WR Buddy Farnham also got in on the drill making a nice one-handed grab as he was falling out of the end zone as Wilhite followed.

* Aaron Hernandez and Patrick Chung challenged each other during a similar drill as Chung broke up a pass intended for Hernandez. The two appeared to stare each other down after the play. The two didn't have a chance to go at it again, but Chung seemed disappointed the drill was over as he smacked his hands together when the whistle sounded.

* Randy Moss pulled in a touchdown over his shoulder in the end zone and sprinted to the crowd and gave a couple of fans wearing Moss jerseys a high five.

* P Zoltan Mesko demonstrated his leg strength as boomed a couple of punts from the back of the end zone The team was working on situations that would leave the team backed up in its own end zone.

* Dan Connolly continued to take a number of reps at left guard.

* Gerard Warren and Damione Lewis also got in a lot of time with Vince Wilfork on the defensive line.
