Things are getting sssllllloooowww around here, and they're about to get slower ... After the Bills, Bears, Lions, Jaguars and Titans close up shop this week, the NFL goes on vacation for a few weeks.

So how to fill the void?

Lists!!! Shalise gave you one last night, and I'm about to give you another.

CBSSports.com NFL writer Pete Prisco is in the process of putting out his annual Top 50 list, and yesterday released Nos. 26-50.

Just one Patriot so far: Randy Moss, who checks in at 27th. Fellow WR Wes Welker is in the "Just Missed" category.

As for the rest of the AFC East, the Dolphins have two so far (No. 29 Jake Long, No. 40 Brandon Marshall), and the Jets have one (No. 33 Nick Mangold, plus "just missed" D'Brickashaw Ferguson), while the Bills came up empty.

It'll be interesting to see if the Patriots have more than just one (the obvious one) in the Top 25 . Or whether the Jets have more than their own very obvious selection among the most elite. Maybe Vince Wilfork or David Harris sneaks in.

In last year's Prisco Rankings, the Patriots had three Top 50 players: No. 2 Tom Brady, No. 17 Randy Moss and No. 43 Vince Wilfork, and Richard Seymour, Jerod Mayo and Wes Welker made the "Just Missed" group.

Need more ways to pass this quiet time? Shalise is hosting a chat at noon, too, and we'll have some more stuff for you later in the day.
