Mayo picked for under-25 all-pro team

Everyone loves lists, and this week Sporting News magazine weighed in with their top 25 athletes under age 25 across all sports.

But as part of the package, they also did an NFL under-25 all-pro team, and there's a familiar name on the roster - Jerod Mayo.

The Pats' 2008 first-round draft pick, Mayo was chosen as the inside linebacker between Green Bay's Clay Matthews and Washington's Brian Orakpo.

New York's Revis and Sanchez also made the all-sport top 25, at nine and 16, respectively. Celtics' point guard Rajon Rondo came in at number eight. Penguins star Sidney Crosby got the top spot.
