"This year, we’re doing an event where we’re really allowing people to come in and see how our operation runs, both the offense, the defense, get a speech on leadership from the coach and really taking guys who love the sport of football, to come and spend a day in our venue and like, they’re part of the Patriots organization," Kraft said. "The money that comes from that goes back into our community to support so many non-profits that are really hurting today with philanthropic giving with the loss of jobs in the community.

"The diminishment of volunteerism, there’s a greater need for organizations like ourselves to reach out, so it’s a way to give people a great day. It’s an experience, we think it’s pretty exciting, I know if I had a chance to go to the leadership blitz we’re going to have Monday, anyone that’s a real fan would love it. ...

"Instead of playing golf, we want people to see how an offensive plan is built, that can be part of it, they’ll see how a defensive plan, special teams, they’ll sit in the auditorium and hear a speech from the coach, similar to what he gives to the team. So it’ll be a day in the life of the Patriots. We just know, for those of us who are fans, we’d love to experience and do something like that."

Pretty cool way to freshen up the old idea of having a signature fund-raising event. We'll have more from Kraft on the World Cup effort in a little bit.
