Last week, we checked up on where the ESPN football writers had the Patriots ranked.

Irrelevant in May? Sure, it is. But these are fun to look at anyway, and argue over.

So I rounded up a bunch more for you guys to chop up and dissect. Here's where the Patriots rank in each of them ...

USA Today: 7th

CBSSports.com: 7th

FoxSports.com: 10th

WalterFootball.com: 13th

CBS was the one of the three to have New England as its top ranked AFC East, while other three had the Jets as the division's best, and the good people at Walter Football had Miami and New York higher than the Patriots.

Like I said, this doesn't mean much. But on a cloudy May day, it might make for a fun argument.
