All the names have been reported, and now the Patriots have announced the eight rookie free agents that have been signed to deals, bringing the club's number of neophytes to 20.
Ross Ventrone (there to the right) is probably the second most interesting name on the list of UDFA's, because his brother played for the Patriots. First? Gotta be this guy.
Here's the rundown on the roster players who will be at this weekend's rookie minicamp (draft position, when applicable, in parentheses):
WR Bryan Anderson
S Sergio Brown
OLB Jermaine Cunningham (2)
DL Brandon Deaderick (7)
DE Dane Fletcher
TE Rob Gronkowski (2)
TE Aaron Hernandez (4)
CB Terrence Johnson
C/G Ted Larsen (6)
DL Kyle Love
CB Devin McCourty (1)
P Zoltan Mesko (4)
RB Pat Paschall
WR Taylor Price (3)
QB Zac Robinson (7)
LB Brandon Spikes (2)
S Ross Ventrone
OT Thomas Welch (7)
OL John Wise
DL Kade Weston (7)
... There are generally some tryout guys there, and the team tries to keep their names quiet. We'll see what we can do to get those for you tomorrow.
