The Jets have announced they'll make a major announcement tomorrow, and New York Daily News reporter Rich Cimini is reporting that will be to announce that the Jets will be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks.

No kidding.

Chances are the camp will be held again upstate in Cortland, and that means there'll be some extra cameras coming as Rex and the gang load up the bus.

The Jets stand to be plenty good, but results have been mixed for teams engaging with HBO on these things. Here's a look at the records the year before Hard Knocks, and the year of for teams involved:

2001 Ravens 12-4/10-6
2002 Cowboys 5-11/5-11
2007 Chiefs 9-7/4-12
2008 Cowboys 13-3/9-7
2009 Bengals 4-11-1/10-6

HBO always does a good job with these, so this should be interesting to watch
News, analysis and commentary from Boston.com's staff writers and contributors, including Zuri Berry and Erik Frenz.
