Oh, for pity's sake.

A long time ago, the late Abe Lemons gave me the best one-line summary of another human being I ever heard. The topic under discussion was a certain TV basketball pundit whose name rhymes with Swigger Delps. What did Abe think of this fellow?

"Him?" Abe said. "Likes to make waitresses cry."

You really can judge the character of a rich and successful person by how they treat the people who are neither, and who happen to work for them. (Hello, Meg Whitman!) So, if this story is true, some burly son of the person delivering the food should find Randy Moss and smack some sense into him. That said, this can't be a reason for turning your entire franchise upside down. And Brad Childress has to know that saying something like this -- "We want good people that are good football players" -- is just asking for irresponsible bloggers to start posting this stuff again.
