By far, though, the strangest bit of commentary -- but in no way the least cliche-drenched bit -- on the whole matter came from the Blanche DuBois of the AOH Hall. Can anybody please tell me what the lady at the end of the cosmo bar is going on about here? What in the name of god is this column about except, "OMIGOD, the weekend's almost here"? And, if you're going to toss around words like "narcissism," well, it's probably best that you don't pose for pictures like this one...

(Note -- I like Dave Israel, too but, if you had given Jackson Pollock a chance to finish something Picasso had started, he would have jumped at the chance. It might have been good, or it might have been bad, but the level of competition Pollock brought would have been ferocious.)
