No.
Do not do this.

First of all, we cannot afford to lose the word "vuvuzela," which I believe is a lyric from the lost dance-mix version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and which seems to have an infinite capacity for use as a double-entendre. Second, it already is the sound of the World Cup this year; every broadcast sounds like it's taking place at rush hour on the Rte. 2 rotary. I don't know whether I could stand to listen to a soccer game without the horn section emitting low moans. And, finally, don't do it because it obviously aggravates the Cheating French Bastards, which should be something all right thinking people applaud.

Handball my vuvuzela, Pierre. Up the Republic!
