Go West...quickly

Remember that if, say, a manager points out that Joe West is an insufferable meat-sack who can't get out of his own way, that manager gets fined and
(perhaps) suspended. So here's Joe, who never has been confused with
either Bill Klem or Jack LaLanne, mouthing
off three games into the season because he had to haul his sorry
keister around Fenway for longer than he would have liked to do so.
Tough. Contact Dr. Scholl. Here's a tip. Joe: Nobody pays to see you.
You're furniture. You and your opinions ought to matter less to
baseball in general than those of the guy who sells me my $8 beer.
Agree with him or not, and I don't, West's comments are damaging the
product that pays his salary. He should get fined as much as a manager
who points out his obvious arrogance would. Baseball has enough
problems without Eric Cartman calling balls and strikes.

“Still too early, but I share the concern. Would love to see the eventual second unit guys – Baby, Jeff Green, Arroyo, West and probably Kristic – get to play together. Rondo looks exhausted and it would be helpful if Doc could cut back his minutes.
Also, I strongly suspect there were concerns that Perk was not the same player anymore.”

“Packer was serious about hoops. I knew it was a big game when Musberger/Nantz would call a game with Packer. He was old school so he took delight in fundamentals such as a pick/roll or boxing out a rebounder. I'm still a young kid, but I enjoyed his analysis.”
