Picking the winner: When you have it down to the last two teams, you first need to look at their scoring margin. Next, look at their created possession margins (rebound plus turnover margin). If this doesn't wield any answers, look at how efficiently a team runs their offense. Check if a team has a serious statistical advantage in a category, whether a team fouls too much or shoots poorly from the line. There are a number of ways to break these seemingly impossible-to-break ties. And if numbers prove inconclusive, consider those other factors that could play a role, such as coach and player experience.
