Games Iíd like to see this weekend:

VCU at LaSalle: The Atlantic 10 is proving to be the most balanced league in the country, most games are toss-ups and that would be the case here.

Towson at Delaware: The two best teams in the CAA but I really like Delawareís backcourt of Devon Saddler and Jarvis Threatt. They could torment a favored team in the NCAAs.

Xavier at Providence: The Friars are home riding a four-game winning steak; Xavier has won 10 of its last 11. If Providence wins this one, advance them into the bracket.

Florida State at Duke: A tough defensive battle, I think. Not sure Duke has turned the corner yet.

Kansas State at Iowa State: The Iowa State Cyclones, a Sullyís Court favorite, must, must, must win this. And they will.

Texas at Baylor: Two teams going in opposite directions. Texas up, Baylor down. You know what that means: Baylor wins.

Saint Josephís at Richmond: The Richmond Spiders just upset UMass; the Saint Joseph's Hawks have won nine of their last 10. Both have aspirations to move upward in the A10 so a lot at stake here.

Michigan at Michigan State: Both teams are 6-0 in the Big 10; both teams have kept winning despite injuries but Michigan State might be at the breaking point. This is the chance for the Wolverines to win in Ann Arbor.

Georgetown at Creighton: Creighton should win easily but just in case Iíll check in.

BYU at Gonzaga: Run-and-gun, I hope. Letís get both teams over the century mark. Zaga will have more in the end, however.

San Diego State at Utah State: Dangerous trip for the Aztecs. Theyíre mature enough to handle it but Utah Stateís home court (The Spectrum) is a hard place to play.

Fordham at UMass: Hoping Chaz & Co. starting playing well again; this is a matchup that can cure their ills.

Harvard at Dartmouth: Whatís up with the Crimson losing to Florida Atlantic? Just a blip, I hope. If thatís true, this should be a blowout.

Clemson at North Carolina: The streak will end. If you donít know, Clemson has NEVER won at North Carolina. Fifty-six straight losses. On Sunday, it ends.

Kent State at Toledo: Good to check in on the Toledo Rockets, the class of the MAC.

Cal at UCLA: As Iíve told you several times, Cal fans worry that their team will collapse at any moment. It happened when they lost to Southern Cal Wednesday night. Itís about to become a two-game losing streak. If the Bears upset UCLA the most surprised people will be Cal fans like the Globeís own Gary Washburn.
