The Red Sox will hold a city-wide promotion on Thursday and give away tickets and memorabilia at locations around Boston.
The "Big-Head Blitz" will feature cardboard cutouts of the faces of each Red Sox player on the 25-man roster placed in "high traffic locations" throughout Boston, including the State House, Boston Common, and Post Office Square. Red Sox marketing staff will be at each location holding prize giveaways.
Clues to the exact locations will be distributed through the @redsox Twitter account.
The promotion, which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., is similar to last year's balloon blitz.
The #MeetYourSox gameplan: 8-4. Find a player. Yell "Go Sox" & then you'll have to complete a task to win tix or autographed item.
