Celtics reserve center Darko Milicic is leaning toward leaving the team to be with his ill mother in Europe, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Milicic did not travel with the Celtics to Detroit, and he's close to his decision to leave the team and return to Serbia, the sources said. The report says Milicic is also unhappy with his lack of a role with the Celtics. The former No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft is on a one-year contract.
