There could be a few more trophies on Boston sports shelves next month when the ESPYs, ESPN's annual sports awards, take place on Wednesday, July 13, at 9:00 p.m.

Bruins Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas, NFL MVP Tom Brady, and all-time three-point scoring champion Ray Allen are among the Boston nominees for the 2011 class. You can vote for your favorites here. The categories of local interest follow:

Best Team nominee: Boston Bruins

The championship competition: Auburn football; Dallas Mavericks; Green Bay Packers; San Francisco Giants; Texas A&M women's basketball
