Novelty sports events have become all the rage, with the NHL's Winter Classic leading the charge.
Now we can add a college basketball game on an aircraft carrier to the list that already includes outdoor basketball and hockey games, as well as soccer and football inside baseball stadiums.
According to a report on Inside Carolina on FoxSports.com, North Carolina will play Michigan State on Nov. 11 -- Veterans Day -- in San Diego.
The report said North Carolina coach Roy Williams mentioned the game on a radio appearance Monday night. The report also said the USS Reagan may be the boat used.
