The saga in New York over the Yankees' negotiations with shortstop, captain and face of the team Derek Jeter took a hilarious turn this morning when the New York Post Photoshopped a Red Sox uniform onto the team's captain for its back page.
"Picture This," the tabloid's headline screams.
It promotes a story by George King about Yankees GM Brian Cashman encouraging Jeter to find work elsewhere if he doesn't like the Yankees' three-year, $45 million offer. Jeter is a free agent.

According to the Post, Jeter is seeking a deal more along the lines of $20 million per season and for five seasons.
