HIGHLIGHTS: The Chiefs jumped out to a 2-0 lead but the PawSox (34-22) struck back with runs over the final four innings to pull out the win. … Allen Webster struck out 6 and allowed 2 runs over 6 1/3 to pick up his 5th straight win. Last season Webster won just 6 games in 29 appearances. … Brandon Snyder picked up 3 hits on the night to run his average to .299 and Brock Holt collected 2 hits and is now batting .268 just one month after he was at .174.

HIGHLIGHTS: The teams combined for only 10 hits, three of which were solo home runs that accounted for all scoring, but the Curve got the last big one in the ninth off the bat of Mel Rojas. … Brandon Workman logged a season-high 8 innings, allowing only a run, 3 hits and 2 walks. It’s his third straight no decision. …Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 walks. … Michael Almanzar’s tenth home run and 39th RBI are both team highs and rank him in the top three in the Eastern League in both categories.

HIGHLIGHTS: Salem (22-30) scored three runs in the last two innings but it was not enough to take out the Pelicans who snapped an 8-game losing streak. … Starter William Cuevas allowed 4 runs and 7 hits in 5 1/3 innings to collect his sixth loss and fifth in his last six starts. Cuevas’ only win of the season came back on April 21. … Deven Marrero, Garin Cecchini, Brandon Jacobs and David Renfroe had two hits apiece for Salem.

HIGHLIGHTS: With May finally behind them the Drive (16-39) wasted no time in making June something better thanks to a 13 hit effort. … Starter Pat Light, fresh off the disabled list, faced one batter and threw just 3 pitches before leaving the game with an injury. … In relief Luis Diaz allowed just 1 run over 6 1/3 innings for his first win of the season. … In his second game since joining the organization third baseman Mario Martinez went 4-for-5 with an RBI and run. … Aneury Tavarez went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles, a walk, an RBI and a run.

Daniel Ortiz gunned down what would have been the tying run on a bases loaded single, ending the Bowie threat after they pulled within one on the same play. … Alex Meyer mowed down 10 by way of the K, a season best. In 6 2/3 innings the 6’9” righty gave up just 2 hits, 2 walks and a run to earn his first win since April 25th. … Danny Santana went 2-for-4 and picked up the team’s only two RBIs. Santana has collected six hits in his last four games.

HIGHLIGHTS: The Fisher Cats (28-29) bats went silent as the BMets piled up runs over the first three innings to cruise to victory. … Clint Robinson (2-for-4) was the only New Hampshire batter with more than one hit. … Both outfielder Kevin Pillar and manager Gary Allenson were ejected in the 6th inning after arguing balls and strikes.
