5:30 p.m.
Winston-Salem Dash – Jake Cose (4-3, 1.72)
at Salem Red Sox – Mike McCarthy (3-2, 4.02 ERA)
NOTE: This will be Mike McCarthy’s fifth straight start and eighth of the season. He is 1-0 and has allowed just 4 earned runs in his last three starts. McCarthy faced the Dash back on May 5th, earning a win after allowing only a run in 5 innings. Jake Cose gets his first start for Winston-Salem after being promoted from Kannapolis where he had 63 strikeouts in 57 2/3 innings.

Winston-Salem Dash – Jason Van Skike (2-1, 1.71 ERA)
at Salem Red Sox – Kyle Kraus (2-0, 1.96 ERA)
NOTE: The Salem Sox have received Kyle Kraus from Greenville and will immediately put the right-handed reliever to work to start game two. In 13 appearances out of the pen with the Drive, Kraus had allowed just 4 earned runs in 18 1/3 innings. He struck out 20 and walked only 2. Jason Van Skike makes just his fourth start of the season for Winston-Salem. He pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Salem back on May 3rd.

Syracuse Chiefs – Danny Rosenbaum (5-3, 3.54 ERA)
at Pawtucket Red Sox – Alfredo Aceves (2-1, 3.13 ERA)
NOTE: Alfredo Aceves returns to the Pawtucket rotation after a brief callup to Boston. He has eaten up 23 innings over 4 starts for Gary DiSarcina and the PawSox. This will be his third start at McCoy Stadium where he is 1-0 with a 0.83 ERA. Danny Rosenbaum gets his 11th start for Syracuse coming off of his shortest outing this season, 1 1/3 innings versus Gwinnett.
