NOTES: Anthony Ranaudo makes his first regular season start since being shut down for the season with shoulder fatigue after his July 3rd start a year ago. He has since made appearances in Puerto Rico and spring training, leaving Ranaudo to declare that this is, “The light at the end of the tunnel if you will. I’ve had a great spring I’m having a good time and not really worrying about things that I can’t control. Just trying to stay healthy and keep making every start they ask me to make.”…Cody Kukuk makes his Greenville debut. The 6’4” left-hander is ranked as the 23rd best Red Sox prospects by SoxProspects.com…Steven Wright allowed four hits and four walks over four innings in his season opening debut. He did not received a decision in that game, but will look to put the PawSox back on track after they allowed 14 runs in their first loss of the season last night…Williams Cuevas is the last of three Sox pitchers to make their season debut tonight. The righty from Venezuela was spectacular with Lowell last season, striking out 72 and allowing only 15 walks over 77 1/3 innings. The Salem Sox are looking to string together a few wins after grabbing their first victory of the season last night.

at Harrisburg Senators – Brian Broderick (2012: 5-8, 6.42 ERA, 68 Ks)

NOTES: Austin Bibens-Dirkx gets his second start of the season for New Hampshire. He had a solid outing on a cold opening night, tossing 6 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. Bibens-Dirkx made 39 appearances last season, but only four of which were starts…Logan Darnell’s first start of the season was cut short on opening day due to the game be suspended because of rain. He has thrown 3 2/3 scoreless innings to that point with 4 hits, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. The Rock Cats own a league worst .179 team batting average.
