Boston Bruins 'Most-Hated NHL Team' In USA, Canada

The other day, we told you how the Patriots were the most-hated NFL team in both the United States and the World.

Well, make room, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

The Bruins have joined you atop the hate pantheon.

Following a very unscientific survey of fans in the NHL Reddit, Reddit user KMHokies35 completed the pro-sports "Hate Map" cycle with his state-by-state version of the most-hated NHL teams.

The Bruins trounced the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings for the most-hated team in the United States, carrying New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nevada and Washington state. That's a total of 134 Electoral Votes.

OK, folks, what did the Bruins ever do to Arkansas and New Mexico?

In the "No Suprise" category, the Montreal Canadiens were earned most-hated status in each of the six New England states.

The province-by-province voting in Canada gave the Bruins a Reagan-esque landslide victory.

The Bruins won every Canadian province but Alberta. The Great White North hates itself some Brad Marchand and Zdeno Chara.

Now that's one poll that we can definitely believe in.
