'House Divided' - Tabloid says Tom Brady 'Fed Up' With 'Super Controlling' Gisele

Star Magazine, July 28, 2014

Mrs. Tom Brady celebrated her 34th birthday on Sunday.

"Thank you to everyone for the love and birthday wishes. I feel so blessed. #grateful," Gisele BŁndchen wrote on her Instagram page.

Not among those pictured with Gisele on her birthday Sunday was her husband. Being a celebrity couple has its pitfalls. Chief among them is inclusion in the super-market tabloids.

In the July 28, 2014 issue of the Star Magazine, which came out this weekend, Brady and his wife are featured in a story that details allegations that their marriage is in trouble. The story, called "A House Divided" claims that Gisele "controls every aspect of Tom Brady's life - and he's getting fed up."

The story, citing "insiders," said that Gisele is "super controlling" her husband and has "final say" on everything from how their home is decorated to how and where exactly their children will live and be raised. Chief among the issues was her decision to uproot the family from their $40 million California mansion to a new home currently under construction in Brookline.

You can't make this stuff up. Right?

Wonder if those were the same "insiders" who told us there was no way the Patriots were going to re-sign Vince Wilfork or never had Darrelle Revis in their sights until they read Adam Schefter's Twitter feed?

Meanwhile, this is how Gisele marked the start of her vacation a few days ago.

Quite alone. For most of us, 34 (or so) never looked this fit. Brady will have to get that image out of his head quickly. The Patriots QB and the rest of the team's veterans report to camp on Wednesday. Good luck with that.

Maybe the NFL season can't start soon enough for Brady, too.
