While the Bucks, who had the worst record in the league, had to settle for the No. 2 pick, Edens became the No. 1 pick of thousands of users on Twitter after representing the team at the lottery in New York. She began the night with less than 250 followers, according to Yahoo! Sports. She was over 10,000 in less than 40 minutes.

She had nearly 19,000 Twitter followers in just two hours after appearing on ESPN.

By the way, she graduates from high school next month.

"I was really nervous, but really happy to get the second pick," Mallory Edens told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "I was extremely nervous, but it was really fun."

Just wait until she's done going through all those messages on her phone.
