So much for that high-ankle sprain.
Tight-end Rob Gronkowski had no trouble moving on the dance floor and stage at the Patriots' infamous post-defeat party in Indianapolis after the Super Bowl Sunday night. Gronk came up about a foot short while diving for Tom Brady's hail-Mary pass at the end of the game in the end zone. He was also beaten on an underthrown pass deep downfield by linebacker Chase Blackburn in the fourth quarter, who was able to get position on the hobbled Gronkowski and pick off the ball. After the game, Gronk said: "I was 100 percent out there." He finished the Super Bowl with two catches for 26 yards.
No doubt he was 100 percent after the game. Here's Gronk moving wildly and with ease alongside LMFAO in this listener-provided video posted on You Tube by 98.5 The Sports Hub's The D.A. Show :
The same unnamed lister of The D.A. Show also gave us this brief clip of Matt Light doing his thing shirtless on stage.
Host Damon Amendolara Tweeted : "I don't think it means they care any less. Both actually move pretty well for big men. They had to know plenty of ppl were recording it."
Meanwhile, Gronk danced up a storm on the floor, as well. starfishsawg posted this clip on You Tube passed along to us by Boston Sports Then And Now of Gronk after he left the stage tearing it up. It's 3:58 long but you get the point about 10 seconds into it.
Can only imagine what he would have done if they had won?
