Big Shots for November 23, 2011
This week Big Shots mushes at the European sled dog championships in Slovenia, pulls trucks around India whilst wearing roller blades for some reason, and gets a whiff of something funky at a mixed martial arts tournament in California. There are also sports pictures. No turkeys were harmed during the production of this blog. ( 25 photos total)

A Turkmenistan player (left) tackles a British player during their match in the Kabaddi World Cup in Jalandhar, India on November 16, 2011. The ancient sport of Kabaddi, most popular in India's rural north, is a seven-person game that involves "raiding" the opponents' side, and involves tackling and wrestling. A World Cup sponsored by Punjab has been marred by rampant use of performance-enhancing drugs resulting in at least 34 positive cases. Players from Britain, Australia, the United States, Spain, Canada, Italy, Norway, Germany, Argentina and India have failed tests, and teams representing Australia and the United States were withdrawn from competition. Kapil Gehlot pulls a truck weighing 20,460 lbs while wearing roller blades 262.8 feet at the Goshala Grounds in Jodhpur on November 10, 2011. Gehlot was able to shatter his old highly practical record pulling a 2301 lb vehicle a distance of 226 feet. Watch, I bet a guy named Strdel shot this picture. (Strdel/AFP/Getty Images) #
