Big Shots for November 11, 2010

Apparently eye gouging and face kicking are allowed if we take our cues from the Four Nations rugby league and soccer's Europa League. Giving up, however, is not allowed, as the Haiti National Amputee Soccer Team shows us during their US tour. We also learn that pole dancing is a competitive sport, and that Alain Robert will climb any tall structure he can get his hands and feet on. Finally, Kelly Slater shows us you're never too old to win a surfing championship, which is good news. ( 27 photos total)

Unfortunately Rough Sailing (Photo #9) had to be euthanized after breaking his right shoulder in the fall. A sad ending for a decent colt.
