Big Shots for March 18, 2010

So much is happening in the sporting world this week it's difficult to bring it all to you. In addition to this week's earlier posts on the annual Paris - Nice bicycle race and the IAAF Indoor World Championships in athletics in Doha, Qatar, I still need to create posts on the Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska and the Paralympics in Vancouver. I'll try to get to those next week, and meanwhile March Madness has begun. I'll bring you a full gallery of pictures of both the men's and women's tournaments at their conclusion. This week features other tournaments like the All England Badminton Championships and the Six Nations rugby union tournament in France. And let's not forget the largest bike race in the world in South Africa. ( 31 photos total)

Young gymnasts from the age of 11 years old train for six to seven hours a day. (STR/AFP/Getty Images) A question from Big Shots to Getty: what's with the anonymous attribution for freelance photographers in China? These are great pictures, and we'd like to know who shot them. Chinese names aren't that long. Would a few extra keystrokes kill you? #
