Sports photos of the week for January 26, 2010

This week Big Shots travels to Dresden for the ISU European Short Track Speed Skating Championships, keeps our eyes on the birdie during the Malaysia Open Badminton Super Series in Kuala Lumpur, and burns a cricket league chairman in effigy in Karachi. It's never dull around here. I'm also gathering images for two special posts I'll share with you soon, The Australian Open tennis championships and the African Cup of Nations soccer tournament in Angola. ( 27 photos total)

Always great pictures. Is there any chance you can do an Australian Open 2010 series, or even just a Tennis picture series- there are always some great faces, and funny shots. Love all your pictures!

I will absolutely post an Australian Open entry. I'm preparing it right now, in fact. Any suggestions for individual topics are always welcome!
