IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin

The 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin saw 2500 athletes from 213 countries compete in 47 events. The event drew top athletes from all participating countries including top stars like Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlasic. They did not disappoint the expected 500,000 spectators, with Bolt setting new world records in both the 100m and 200m. ( 36 photos total)
