Five things to know about the Knicks

4. The trade hasn't worked as expected Apologies, but we do have to break our promise and mention Carmelo Anthony here in the context of the trade that sent him from Denver to New York on Feb. 21. While the Knicks were thought to be adding to a contending team and the Nuggets rebuilding, it hasn't quite worked that way on the court. The Nuggets are 18-5 since the deal and just clinched the No. 5 seed in the tougher Western Conference , while the Knicks are 14-12. Anthony brings a superstar to New York, but it's too soon to tell just how much the Knicks will miss former contributors like Raymond Felton (center) and Wilson Chandler (right).
