Cleveland has been listening to offers for the pick but may have a greater interest now that Joel Embiid has a broken foot, Blakely writes. The Celtics would use the pick to draft either Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker (above), according to the report.
The Celtics have plenty to offer, including the No. 6 and No. 17 picks this season as well as extra first-round picks in upcoming drafts. Blakely also notes that the Celtics are interested in moving up to draft Embiid and consider him worth the risk. Cleveland was high on Embiid but is now likely to pass on him.
Interesting to note here is that despite Danny Ainge's public statements that this draft class is overrated, the Celtics could very well make moves to draft several players from it, including more than one lottery pick.
