LOS ANGELES -- The days off for Andrew Bynum are coming at the right time for the center's knee. Bynum didn't practice today as he rested the knee that he had drained earlier this week.

"It felt alright," Bynum said. "It's not any worse. It wasn't too sore after the game."

Bynum played 28 minutes, 09 seconds in the 102-89 victory against the Celtics last night. He scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

At this point, Bynum said the priority is to limit the swelling but he called the days off "huge."

He said he will rest a day and "maybe just get some touch around the rim," Bynum said. "I don't know if I'll fully practice but definitely get some shots up."
