Final, Celtics 105-90
Celtics put away the tough Bucks, dominating the fourth quarter defensively. Milwaukee shot 6 for 18 in the fourth quarter and lost its composure down the stretch.

Fourth quarter, 1:02, Celtics 95-86
Celtics trying to hold on to what would be an important victory against a tough Bucks club. Paul Pierce has 22 points and Ray Allen has 16.

Fourth quarter, 2:22, Celtics 92-82
There has been a flurry of technicals as Jerry Stackhouse and Paul Pierce get tangled up on an inbounds play and Stackhouse is called for a foul and each for technicals because they wrestled on the floor. Bucks coach Scott Skiles was ejected for arguing the call on Stackhouse. Ray Allen hits both free throws and Celtics have the ball.

Fourth quarter, 2:35, Celtics 88-81
The game has turned more intense as Kurt Thomas commits a hard foul on Glen Davis, who raises up only to be held back by teammates. Paul Pierce has scored Boston's last six points and has 22 for the game as the Celtics are shooting 57 percent in the second half.

Fourth quarter, 5:50, Celtics 82-72
The Celtics are on a 6-0 run as Milwaukee is 3 for 10 in the first 6:10 of the quarter. Rajon Rondo has taken control of the game with his dribble penetration, leaving Brandon Jennings helpless at times.

Fourth quarter, 8:33, Celtics 76-69
The Celtics are trying to put away tough Milwaukee, but Ersan Ilyasova is keeping the Bucks in the game, scoring seven of their last eight points. Paul Pierce has 16 points for the Kevin Garnett-less Celtics and Rajon Rondo has 13 points and eight assists.

End of third quarter, Celtics 68-65
Paul Pierce gets hot near the end of the period with two baskets in the final 1:20 but the Celtics can't put away the Bucks, who are just freelancing offensively and scoring on drives to the basket with Kevin Garnett out and Kendrick Perkins playing limited minutes.

Third quarter, 2:32, Celtics 62-59
Rajon Rondo and Brandon Jennings are going at it, and Rondo is winning, with nine points in the period and he also has seven assists. Jennings has 16 points but just one assist in 26 minutes and just collected a turnover. Boston is 9 for 14 from the field in the quarter but needs a few stops to create more space.

Third quarter, 6:04, Celtics 52-49
The Celtics are winning the game with defense and began the half with a 9-4 run to extend the lead to six. Milwaukee is 7 for 18 from the 3-point line and that is keeping the Bucks in the game. They are not running any offense and besides Brandon Jennings and John Salmons are 10 for 37 from the field.

Halftime, Celtics 41-40
The game is as ugly as the score but the Celtics are playing much better than Friday against Washington. They are winning despite 36 percent shooting and just one double-figure scorer, Rasheed Wallace. The Bucks are using 3-pointers to stay close -- 18 of their points have come from beyond the arc -- but they are 9 for 23 on two-pointers and Brandon Jennings has one assist in 17 minutes.

Second quarter, 2:46, Bucks 37-33
Bucks continue to maintain the lead with 3-pointers -- they have six -- but the Celtics are playing with an edge and an attitude not present Friday against Washington. Rasheed Wallace has 10 points but needs to avoid his third foul before halftime. No other Celtics has more than four points.

Second quarter, 5:59, Bucks 29-26
The Bucks are 5 for 13 from the 3-point line and 7 for 20 on two-pointers, which is a sign of the type of defense the Celtics are playing. If the Bucks continue to hit 3-pointers at this rate, they should win, but they do not beat teams The Celtics have already gotten 13 points from the bench, including four in nine minutes from Nate Robinson.

Second quarter, 8:27, Bucks 26-21
Milwaukee has hit four 3-pointers but just 37 percent from the field as the Celtics have brought their defensive suitcases to the game. Boston is struggling from the field but it is not affecting its defense, which was the case Friday. Rasheed Wallace leads the Celtics with five points on 2-for-6 shooting.

End of first quarter, Bucks 18-15
The Celtics are playing better defense and the Bucks have the lead because of four 3-pointers, three by Brandon Jennings. The Celtics haven't been good offensively but that will come. The key tonight is defense and so far so good.

First quarter, 2:49, Bucks 15-9
It's turning into an ugly game with the two teams a combined 10 for 31 from the field. And it's apparent Doc Rivers is going deep into his bench. Nate Robinson, Glen Davis and Shelden Williams have already make appearances as he seeks spark.

First quarter, 5:28, Bucks 13-6
The Celtics have more energy than last night but their execution is the same. Milwaukee already has three 3-pointers and four points from veteran Kurt Thomas. The Celtics are 3 for 12 from the field and Rasheed Wallace, starting in the place of Kevin Garnett, has already missed four shots.
