Walker will pass on D-League Dunk Contest

He was told by Celtics PR man Brian Olive that in order to go, he'd have to be sent back down to NBDL Maine. He wasn't interested.
"I'm trying to go home to see my mom," he said.
It's hard to blame him considering that with Paul Pierce out, he's likely to see his minutes increase until Pierce is able to return.
He admitted though that there's something not quite right with going to Dallas and dunking in the D-League. It wouldn't be the same as being in the real thing.
"It's like the NIT," he said, agreeing with a reporter. "I don't want to do it."
