Don't adjust TV; Celtics wear home whites

It isn't Opening Night if some NBA team decides to wear some throwback uniform for marketing purposes. Color the Cavaliers guilty on that charge. They will be wearing dark uniforms, likely their wine colored road uniforms while the Celtics will don home whites.

And for those fans who are wondering whether the Celtics can sign a player in Glen Davis's place, they would have to make a roster move to add another player because they are carrying the maximum 15. There is no more injured list. Teams activate 12 players before games and de-activate three.

So the Celtics' likely inactives tonight are Davis, Bill Walker and Tony Allen or Brian Scalabrine. Scalabine is not available because of a sprained right ankle, so the Celtics will be limited to 11 players tonight, meaning Lester Hudson and J.R. Giddens could see some playing time.
