Stephon Marbury told ESPN today that he has had conversations with Boston, Miami, and Dallas about playing with them once he is able to receive a buyout of his $21 million contract this season that he said he is "locked into."

Marbury, who has been suspended by the Knicks since the beginning of the season, added that he believes he could sign with one of those three teams and that he hasn't talked to any Celtics players.

"If I get out of my deal I will be able to choose," Marbury said.

The Boston Herald reported this morning that the Celtics denied making a verbal commitment to the two-time All-Star should he be bought out by the Knicks. Marbury made the claim in an interview with the New York Post that was published in yesterday's editions.
