The Celtics opened the second half of the regular season by extending their winning streak to four games with a 105-85 win over the New Jersey Nets this afternoon.

The Celtics (33-9), who play host to Phoenix Monday, had taken a 118-85 victory over the Nets in Boston Wednesday. This time, their task was even easier, as they opened a 16-point lead in the opening quarter.

Ray Allen (25 points) scored 14 points in the first quarter. Only Paul Pierce (35 minutes) played more than 30 minutes among Celtic starters. Brook Lopez provided the Nets' only consistent threat, scoring 12 of his 28 points on dunks.
