OAKLAND, Calif. — The Celtics played hard, again. They played tough and together and gave themselves a chance to win, again. And, ultimately, they lost again.

Their losing streak reached a season-high seven games Friday after dropping a 99-97 nail-biter to the Golden State Warriors before a rowdy crowd at Oracle Arena.

The Celtics have lost 10 of 11 games, falling to 13-24.

They’ll close out their five-game Western Conference road trip Saturday in Portland against one of the top three teams in the West: the 27-9 Trailblazers.

Few will give the Celtics much of a chance in that game, as the Celtics are now 0-8 on the road against the Western Conference.
