LeBron James scored 38 points, Dwyane Wade added 31 points, and the Miami Heat dominated the second half to beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 96-82, last night for their 11th straight road win.

Playing for the first time against Paul Silas, his first NBA coach in Cleveland, James scored 26 points in the second half and added nine rebounds. Wade grabbed 11 boards in Miami’s 18th win in 19 games.

With Kwame Brown the only healthy center, the Bobcats fell apart offensively, missing 18 straight shots bridging the second and third quarters.

Nuggets 113, Rockets 106 — Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points and host Denver pulled ahead late in the fourth quarter to beat Houston for its fourth consecutive win.

Anthony had 11 rebounds and made 13 of 14 free throws to help the Nuggets fend off the Rockets with his eighth game of 30 or more points this season.

Nene added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Denver.

Houston was led by Luis Scola with 24 points.

Hornets 84, 76ers 77 — David West scored 17 points and Chris Paul added 15 as the host New Orleans held on for a victory over Philadelphia.

Brand led the 76ers with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Jazz 102, Pistons 97 — Deron Williams scored 22 points, including a pair of late free throws, as host Utah beat Detroit for its 11th straight victory over the Pistons.

Tayshaun Prince led Detroit with 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting and Tracy McGrady had 11 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds.

Magic 110, Warriors 90 — Hedo Turkoglu had 10 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists and Dwight Howard added 22 points and 17 rebounds, leading host Orlando.

Monta Ellis led Golden State with 20 points.
