McDonald's first walk-off hit
came on June 28, 2005, while he was playing for the Durham Bulls. He belted his second home-run of the game against the Syracuse SkyChiefs to propel the Bulls to a 4-3 victory. On Aug. 23, 2006 McDonald went deep again to win the game in walk-off fashion to earn the win for the Bulls over the Norfolk Tides. Similar to last night, that walk-off winner snapped a five-game losing streak for his team.
