Red Sox starter Clay Buchholz looked dazed after Adam Lind of the Blue Jays became the second of the first three batters of the game to hit a home run off of him, driving in Aaron Hill (in background).
The Sox would rally in the game, thanks in part to a three-run homer by J.D. Drew in the eighth, but they still fell short, 8-7.
Luckily for the Red Sox, the Rangers also lost their game to the Angels early this morning, helping the Red Sox clinch the AL wild card.
