Sammy Stewart is a former Red Sox pitcher who was with the team during their run to the World Series in 1986. Stewart is currently serving a 6-year jail term at the Piedmont Correctional Institute in his home state of North Carolina. Stewart is a habitual felon, and is serving time for felony drug possession and failure to appear in court on a felony charge.
