Carbo played for six major league teams teams in a 12-year career, batting .264 with 96 home runs and 358 RBI in 1,010 games. But he was out of baseball by the age of 33.
Asked if its fair to call him a one-hit wonder, Carbo just smiles.
"Thats right and God used that home run I hit 35 years ago when I was lost in the world to open doors to the New England area to tell people about Jesus," he said.
