After going 5-2 on their seven-game homestand, the Red Sox now head west for seven road contests, with the first four coming against the AL West-leading Oakland Athletics. With Thursday's first pitch schedule for 10:05 p.m., here are tonight’s starting lineups:

Notes: The Red Sox won 2-1 in 10 innings over the Twins at Fenway Park yesterday...The Sox fell behind 1-0 in the top of the 10th before David Ortiz and Mike Napoli hit back-to-back homers, just the 2nd and 3rd hits of the game, to walk off with the win in the 10th inning…Elias says it was also the 1st time the Red Sox ever hit back-to-back homers in extra innings with one to tie the game and the other to win it...The Sox open a season-long-tying 10-day, 11-game road trip tonight with the 1st of 7 games on the west coast against OAK (4 G) and SEA (3 G)...After an off-day next Thursday, they close it out with 3 at NYY…This road trip completes a 28-day, 26-game stretch (6/2-29) over which the Sox were slated for only 7 games in Boston, all in the just-completed homestand.
