FORT MYERS, Fla. - Just came out of the Red Sox clubhouse. Pretty quiet day so far.

Jonathan Papelbon is back in the house looking as if he's feeling better after a couple of days of flu-like symptoms.

Had a nice chat with non-roster third baseman Hector Luna, who had a smashing winter ball season playing for Tony Pena's Aguilas team in the Dominican. Luna is likely headed to Pawtucket but says he hasn't given up hope of making the major league team. This guy has moved around a lot so he hopes to be able to stick to the Sox for a while.

First baseman Lars Anderson keeps plugging away even though he's blocked now by Adrian Gonzalez. The one interesting possibility is if he can be David Ortiz's replacement next season as a DH. Anderson will likely start at Pawtucket and probably be there most of the year. But he's still very young -- 23 -- and while he could become major trade bait at some point, the Red Sox haven't given up on the fact Anderson could get back to his high prospect status of a couple of years ago.

Kevin Youkilis and Adrian Gonzalez seemed to have formed a friendship.

Get-well wishes to colleague Mike Vega, feeling ill today.
